When price action moves powerfully in one direction, a trend is formed. And when trends form, it can often take some time before they end.
Also, when trends do pause, it doesn’t necessarily indicate a reversal in the trend is coming. Often, trends stop to consolidate before the trend continues.
Trends do, however, eventually reverse, and when they do, it is among the most profitable opportunities for swing trading.
