Here’s an interesting little gem. According to Twitter user @gotoalberto, a Moscow Subway franchise owner is apparently accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment for purchases. Not only that, but the store is offering a 10 percent discount if customer pay in Bitcoins.
We wonder what Subway corporate has to say about this, but this is Russia. Anything goes.
We’re not sure if this is normal in Russia among Subway stores, but a post on Instagram from three months ago also shows a Subway store accepting Bitcoin, though it’s unclear if it’s the same location.
