Core
Core is a non-custodial wallet that sports a seedless design and social login. These features make it very easy to get started, with no pesky mnemonic phrase to master. If you’re the sort of DeFi user who still does the bulk of your activity on Ethereum, and occasionally like to ape into memecoins at short notice, MetaMask, with its accompanying dapp browser, is a worthy contender.
Trust
Trust is another heavy hitter when it comes to web3 wallets, boasting over 70M users and a six-year pedigree. Like most wallet developers, Trust has integrated dapps over the years, recognizing that crypto users appreciate the convenience of being able to do all of their onchain activity in one place.
There are integrated swaps with Trust, delivered with the aid of ThorChain, 1inch, Mimic, and Axelar. There’s also integrated staking courtesy of 23 providers and access to popular NFT marketplaces such as OpenSea and Rarible. Trust is a highly capable all-rounder, particularly in terms of the chains and assets it supports. While its dapp support is not as extensive as some of the projects featured above, it’s nevertheless a good wallet for taking your first steps in web3 and connecting to your first dapps.
Which Dapp Browser Is Best?
Determining which dapp brower is best depends to a large extent on which networks you’re trying to access. Many of the wallets and browsers reviewed here are specific to a particular blockchain ecosystem. When rated for user experience and diversity of dapps supported, Core gets the nod. For Starknet, it has to be Argent of course, and MetaMask for Ethereum.
