The Bitcoin Alliance of Canada has announced they’ll be hosting the first annual Bitcoin Expo in Toronto, taking place from April 11th through the 13th at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Speakers are comprised of well-known entities in the bitcoin community, the likes of which include Jason King of Sean’s Outpost, Blockchain.info chief security officer Andreas Antonopoulos, Charlie Lee of Coinbase (and creator of litecoin), and many more. A full list of speakers can be found here.
According to the Bitcoin Alliance of Canada, “The Expo will provide unique opportunities for businesses, consumers, entrepreneurs, developers, innovators, and the curious general public to connect.”
The Expo will provide the most ideal networking opportunities for global leaders and stakeholders to gather and discuss strategies to build Bitcoin organizations at the local, national, and international levels. In addition, there will be a focus on how the community can work with charities and worthy causes around the world, by taking advantage of the benefits and superiority of Bitcoin and other digital currencies.
At the event, there will also be an art exhibit and even a hackathon.
