If you’re in the market for a USB miner, pay attention. Announced last week via the Bitcointalk forums is the availability of theRedfury 2.6GH USB miner. The post states that the devices are in-hand and are ready to go out the door pending successful payment.
The cost per unit is pegged at 0.49BTC (or close to $100) with shipping included, which may or may not be considered overpriced in your book. As far as it looks, it’s pretty bare-bones. A board and a heatsink. The unit consumes about 2.5 watts of energy.
